MPD 18 vs. MPD 24

Hey guys!

At the moment I'm trying to build my own little home-recording studio. I'm using Logic and I always played my beats on a old Yamaha PSR-340 Keyboard.

Now I've decided to get me a drum controller, but don't really know which one is good to begin with. I don't want to pay much more than 130 $.

All I really know is, that the MPD18 uses Note Repeat, what the MPD 24 doesn't. I'm pretty more that guy who's editing the sound on my PC, so I don't need those kind of features. I would like to hear some opinions. What's better? Pro/Contra?

you might not appreciate note repeat is until you use it
then you will understand

i tried using note repeat on my mpd 18 and it didnt sync to my host tempo, someone on here told me that it wont do that. so if thats true, note repeat is pretty much useless anyway.

somone give me a second opinion please!

get the 24 it has a stop button.
