LPD8 with FLStudio

hi.anybody got advanced tutorials for lpd8 with flstudio?I understand some of the basics like setting up the notes and linking a controller to a knob but im surely still missing out on a lot.can i switch octaves on the fly?control parameters in a software instrument with the knobs that dont give you a link to contoller option?can i hold down a pad and have it retrigger automatically etc.
