The USB port on my MPK261 had snapped off so I replaced the PCB Board.
While I am "certain" that I have put the cables back the right way, the keyboard is now not sending data. The pads, sliders and everything else is working fine.

I have tried the red and black power connector both ways just in case that was the issue.
I cant see any other connectors that need to be plugged in.
