MPD218 as a midi controller for Koala Sampler (Android)

Hey folks! I recently discovered koala sampler and have been wanting to find out if i can make the MPD218 work on an android tablet and just have koala sampler recognize it or if it's completely unusable on androids.

My particular android device to be (pending on the facebook market) is a sony one (Sony Xperia Z tablet particularly).
