mpk mini play mk3 can't connect to Editor Software

Hello,
can anyone help me?

I can use the MPK mini play to record Midi and play through Software (VST, Dorico etc.)
but the Editor alyways tells me to connect the Device.
I tried another machine, another cable... nothing changed.
I'm using: Favorite_Editor_1.0.2.exe on Windows 11
