(BUG?) Program/bank select issue

I swear Roland make MIDI a pain in the arse sometimes. Ges Muz wet all out didnt you? reading a manual. I saw roland and went naaahhhh not going there. I dealt with too much headaches doing the same. Some roland gear s easier to use midi with, but some gear is not. I have not used that piece of gear so could not say for sure any instructions. And good on you peeper for keeping at it. Good now you do not have to leave the chair to do this function.

Nah dude it's Korg, not Roland. You having a flashback to that Roland Sysex thread? Don't know if you recall but even I gave up on that one!

By the way I was only helping with that in the context of testing the JJos. If we were in a Korg forum I would have been forced to tell him to RTFM.

can program 16 channels of midi on mpc, all diff programs, all diff banks, no chair leaving.

device Ids means you can daisy chain multiple midi devices to there. the 1000 does 32 channles of midi with A and B of course. So i do workstation on one midi out and four other devices on another midi out. midi throughs help of course. PCs and CCs do nearly everything usually, then there is sysex but lets not go there
