[REQ] Add loopsegment at end

This is for instrument loops, like strings and stuff. On drums it's usually no problem.

MPC1000 has a tendency to create pops if a loop end conicides with the sample end.
Usually it helps if a small section from the loop start and forward (something like 256 samples is enough I believe) is copied and pasted behind the loop end.

This is very tedious if needed on multiple samples.

It would be nice to have this function as a sample edit tool in the trim page.

I dont have this problem. ever. So maybe its more user error. Thats me being lazy and not getting all technical about how to make a loop and all. short answer user error IMO.

I can send you a sample with and without the added segment and you can verify if it's an error on my side or indeed how the machine handles loops.

Are you using the crossfade at all? PM me if you want. Its probably because your start or end point is not on a zero crossing point as so it creates a square wave thing that makes a pop.

The JJ crossfade is not sutable for loops on stuff like orchestral samples (strings and like) - it doesn't have the right curve. It will cause a short dip in the sound on each cycle.

And no, it's not a zero crossing problem. I'll put an example online to show you exactly what I mean but it'll have to wait until next week since I have a gig to prepare.

Sounds like AMP envelope setting not because of crossfade curve to me. Just saying. A lot of people can do loops with out this problem, so look into amp env settings. Also if you know where you want crossfade, then set marker and make a fade in or fade out of 10 ms to make zero crossing point./
