bliprock wrote:So chill dude if i think any of your ideas are really good i will say. But not so far. to be honest not impressed by anything so far, but then im cynical and jaded innit.

I totally wouldn't if you weren't crapping on almost every suggestion I make. It's one thing to just ignore them if you don't think they're good. It's another to just keep saying no, that's no good, and then making recommendations that seem like you're not even listening to me or trying to understand what I'm doing.

Anyway, sorry if I hurt your feelings by ignoring your panning suggestion.
bliprock wrote:So what do you think of LFO to PAN then? i you can do with panning or FX like but still.

Yes, exactly. We already have an onboard FX processor that's capable of doing this. If you want to control it in realtime, you can even use CCs to do so. If you want to control it with Q-link, you can already do that too by plugging a MIDI cable from an OUT to an IN, assigning CC to the slider, and mapping that CC to the pan speed parameter. If you don't want the panning effect on all the time, you can use FX slot change messages as part of your sequence data and then mute/unmute that. I am not a huge fan of auto-panning anyway but that's an aesthetic concern.

bliprock wrote:I feel ya man, but we have cycle play now dont we and a heap of other ways to trigger a sample. and a sequencer, ect ect.

cycle play is gimped currently because it only works when played live, not with prerecorded sequences, which is exactly what i want to use it on. it's also limited to 4 pads.

my request is not so much about different ways to trigger a sample, it's about getting samples to play back with more variety and unpredictability. to sound less mechanical and more evolving.

yep. nice idea right there. lots of granular possibilities with higher lfo speeds and tighter chops as well.

yeah see thats the same argument i am using for LFO to chop. agree to disagree.
