Go to trim screen (mode + pad6)
Press F6 ( edit )
Go to COMBINE with jog wheel.
(combine is A + B samples, thats ok )

But...

Could JJ add combine A + B PADs (with all layers too )

This request is a very good concept, because add JJchop2 into the mpc.
Could be the killer of JJchop2.

I would like add this new combine to os2 too, of course.
Please.

Thanks for all Your atention.

I can see how this can make things more convenient (by pressing a pad to select) but if you never put it into a program it will never come up. The way it is now, all loaded samples are seen without being in a program.

Quoting your self is lazy IMHO> make your argument, dont just say the same thing as we heard you the first time. It is RTFM time!
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl/gpe_mute3.htm
Then resample. Easy solution to do what you want to do, and if you have trouble ask about it here. Dont just quote yourself with out reading and trying what we think is a good solution for you. Its disrespectful and lazy dont you think? This is what simult pad is for so learn how to use it. Then tell me about how you usd it and how you resampled that. You will learn alot

simult = two or more pads are fired at the same time.
combine A + B PAD = copy PAD B and pasting at the end of the PAD A = final result is AB (with layers too )

Sorry.
his thought must be deeper.

His words got my silence, you're just my excuse.

The request sally made is very useful when doing sound engineering and trying to save polyphony. What you stated is not a practical work around because Sally in condensing samples (layers included) into one which is remarkable from a sound design stand-point.

Excellent request Sally!!!

WTF. Where does OP state this about polyphony?? where?? Seems to want to just combine two samples but dosnt know how to use JJOSXL. So either use trim windows combine sample or simult pad.
This is for you to sally..... if you want to combine different samples and you want to use the filters, LFOs ect in the program settings as well, which is the OP of this thread then Simult Pad the samples then RESAMPLE> OK.
If you read my post properly Evil A Sulli you would see that this does indeed save polyphony after resampling. I could give you a right serve now but I wont, just think a bit harder people.
Another RTFM moment as well I think!
So think about simult pad and resampling that. you can combine your pads this way and then go through it all again for another go. Oh and I make all my sounds to, I dont have any loop packs or buy samples at all, so do this everyday. Just so you know where I'm coming from.

cosign on this request. SIMULT & LAYERS eats up a lot of voices. resampling is a pain in the a$$. too time consuming when the ideas are flowing and you want to get your stuff down quick.

i would like to see a 'PAD (with layers)' option added to both COMBINE & MIX in the TRIM screen. both would be a quick and useful way of 'flattening' a layered PAD or PADS down to one sample & one voice (if you go MONO). use COMBINE when you want one pads sound to follow the other, and MIX when you want to stack 2 pads on top of each other. you lose the flexibility of SIMULT but you save a ton of polyphony.

So you prefer to be here whinging for jj to hold your hand instead of doing some work. seriously
If you mean use combine samples after each other then use sequencer or simult with one sample having silence in the beginning so it plays after other sample durring simult play. JJOSXL wont instantly do your work for you, you lazy buggas. G what is wrong with you lot, its like I want it now, i dont wanna have to do a little bit of work at all, just want to hit a button and it does it all for me.

To me this sounds like a feature that is too complicated to do well. Think about all the variables it should take into account to reproduce the "audio" in your pad (layers, gpe etc.). Gained benefits(?) in workflow are in my opinion minimal.

I agree with bliprock here: resample! (first pad1, then pad2 and finally in trim mode combine these = success)
