to mute a track on & off creating a tremelo choppy effect synced with tempo

also use the the q-link sliders like in appegiator mode with
Q1 - D%
Q2 - 1/8, 1/8-3, 1/16 ... etc

does it make sense? is it possible?

you can program the mutes to do that while it is not playing. That way you have total control to do that. Or you can use the LFO set to square wave to Amp to do the same thing and so you can change time of it to suite. Oh yeah and dont forget to hit pads in time as well, that can helps
