Press a one-shot pad in trim mode (5--8) on a long sample. It plays, and you see the playhead moving. Now move up to the name of the sample and change it to a shorter sample. The playhead shows up for that one, and loops when it reaches the end.
This doesn't seem to be much of a problem, and could be useful to have the sample continuing to play, but it's unexpected to see the playhead moving on a sound that is not playing. The playhead shouldn't display on the sample that's not playing.
