In SONG mode, besides just having a MixDown for recording master stereo outs, there should be a track export operation.

MixDown pulls up the "Song to sample" window, where you select a name, and it records to sample.

Track exports works like that, but it solos unmuted tracks, does the Song to sample appending the track number to the end of the name, saves the sample to CF card, erases recorded sample from RAM, and repeats for each track.

With 128MB, for a 5 and a half minute song you'd just need to keep around half your memory free, and then you can set it to export and walk away. It'd take around an hour to export 10 tracks.

Are you that lazy you can not track out? I mean that is the obvious thing to do if you want separate track recordings. Or solo the tracks and record the song Mixdown right, why not do that. I think you have to be very lazy if you want your MPC to track out a song in this auto mode. Its making laugh, let me guess Gen Y right?
It is very silly IMO, I think maybe you are trippin. And do not be so shy of a little bit of effort. sheesh

I was thinking about it the other day and I think it could be a good idea only if it was fully automated, i.e. not only at the track level but at the program level too.

For instance pad01 of a program to an individual MONO track, pad03 and pad04 to a STEREO track (if you use effects)...etc

If there was a special menu and after everything is set no human intervention it would be dope but in the current state it's better to use the separate outs especially if you have a 2K5 with 10 outs.
