Hey so today I was using tempo changes to go from half time to double time in a song, and I forgot that the tempo of simult sequence was locked to the sequence tempo and tried to put in a simult sequence at half tempo. I did it but then remembered it gets over ridden by the sequencer, and follows that tempo as it should.
But, if it could be unlocked it would be very useful. You could do midi time stretch. Well at least say half tempo, double tempo, quarter tempo maybe. Like it if the simult sequence chosen is a tempo that is a mathematically related to master tempo, as I can not see sequencer being able to do two seperate tempos. but maybe not override a tempo that is half sequence tempo.
I tried to bounce midi out of simult sequence playing as well, but did not manage it. But maybe it was something i was doing wrong. See that is what i was thinking I could simult sequence a copy of a sequence at double time or half time and get its midi note info in my master sequence that the simult one is playing in. food for thought. What say you?
