[BUG] Pattern to pad ignores PCs

Hmm, not sure if this is bug or limitation. I am trying to do a vid, to show patterns to pad, and have an issue. I am trying to make a pattern that changes up the drum track program with PCs, and for some reason I can not get the pattern to pad to use Program Changes.
Can someone please confirm this so as to report it. Or let me know if it is not doable.

probably not.

OK steps I did.
1. Set PC numbers of drum sample programs.
2. Make blank track with a few PCs in track (yep that is working, I see changes happen)
3. Convert the track to Pattern, and I name it to, but who cares bout that bit....
4. Set Pad to pattern so as to play new pattern.
5. set pad to program to loop, and no transpose, and set the receive track - easy
6. Hit play, then........
7. Fail
8. Go to MPC-Forums and post.... oh wait you know this bit.
oh yeah I set the PC in main screen to off. and PC:seq. no difference

Y'know I should really try that feature, especially since I think I was the first person to suggest it about a billion years ago on this forum. Been meaning too..

I could understand why it might be a deliberate limitiation... but yeah I need to try that....

Ok so I just started using the function to spit out some automated mix parameters. I haven't gotten to throwing on any PCs yet as I'm in the middle of something that doesn't require it (at least, not yet) but I did notice somethng. There appears to be an additional PC toggle located in the bottom right corner of the pattern bank screen. Did you try messing with that?

BTW don't know if anything has changed but I noticed I'm a couple updates behind at the moment.

yeah I saw them and left them blank so they did not override.
This is probably the only thing i have not yet been able to do.
I will try again in the next few days.

The PCs where more for MPC than external gear. I use PCs for external gear, but not 4 in a bar, like i would with drum programs on mpc. Cos they work as midi messages if set up right, just not mpc PCs for drums ect. Yeah and of course we can send from main screen and patter screen.
The copy paste bug in main screen edit has been fixed so update was well worth it.

Thanks muz. I have been getting into funk, so been doing chord bank again, and patterns have been on back burner.

Redid my chord bank to last night, and made a scale wheel thing to transcribe keys and find my scales chords easier. Works so good i wish I did it years ago. Amazing what you can do with two circles of paper and a paper clip and some theory. Ask me to transcribe any scale and it takes seconds instead of 10 minutes now, off topic, but damn good stuff.
