If you use an external midi controller to engage the F6 key the MPC will hang when in REC mode.
It works ok for starting recording but when u stop recording the MPC hangs in the Assign to pad/keep/retry window. You can hit the pads and hear the samples assigned in the program but u can't get out of this window thus needing reboot.
can someone try it on their MPC

p.s. You can get out of REC MODE but not directly to MAIN, e.g. through the NEXT SEQ screen.
Also the F5 key (from external MIDI) does not work as it supposed to.
oh ye, and if you don't save the recorded samples the MPC just leaves them in memory but without names. I went into the TRIM window and previewed a few that had no name.
