Maybe it was already requested but I'd like to see something like a match BPM to tempo option (without time stretching). Not that I can't just tune the sample up/down but it would be more fun (and more fast) IMO...damn, even the s20 has an option like this :)

LOL! Sorry, but English is my third language :)

OK, let me try to explain what I meant! I'd see and option where you could match loops with different bpms to each other without any time-stretching. We should enter a beat count figure (anything from 1 to 64) then the 2500 would measure the length of the sample, calculate the bpm then we could then enter a new bpm. That's what I meant..

Patched phrase done on auto tranxient chop is probably the simplest answer. Refer to manual of course if you do not know how to make a patched phrase.

Auto transient mode? Now, I can't find that stuff! It's in the JJOS-XL for 2500? It's the auto chop option?

Ok you gotta read all the manual at some stage...
and you will find that the trim window is where to look in this case. BUT
This is only cos you aint figured out to chop it with NDC and other ways it can be done to, but the simplest way is to make the chopping get done by the MPC to make chops on the transients.
Its on the second page of trim.
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl/trim_2e.htm
then make patched phrase, see akai manual about that.
