Hi people,

new to the jjos thing and hope someone can help me with a bit of a weird one.

using jjos2xl 330 mpc2500

recorded some synths to audio tracks on 64 and 63 and when i reloaded my project the audio file from the recording had slowed down.. checked it in trim and it's slowed down there too. the tempo's gone from 108 to 99, no qlinks assigned... just weirdness! :hmmm:

both audiofiles i recorded did it.. i timestretched them up to 108 from 99 and they locked but obviously this is far from ideal.. this is why i'm usually scared to turn off my mpc!

any help would be much appreciated!

cheers..

I am not an expert..but until one chimes in...in digital audio if the sample rate is different (say the audio was done at 44.1khz sample rate and the the playback is set to 48khz..you can get a timestretched or sped up effect.
Its a guess..but just check that these two things are set up the same. I am not even sure you change sample rate in these machines..but on other devices Ive seen this exact problem. fwiw
hopefully a true expert will chime in soon.
