1. [Track List]

The position of the cursor after a copy is not right.

2. [AUDIO TRACK]

If the UNDO button is pressed after recording, the name of a sample may change.

3. [TRACK MIXER]

Selection of a track cannot be performed with a pad during the play of a sequence.

4. [LOOPER]

When MUTE GRUP is set up or VOICE is set as MONO, the sound of a pad does not sound.

5. [NEXT SEQ]

[IMMEDIATEY PLAY]
It will hang, if a pad is hit pressing the NOTE REPEAT button during a play.

6. [STEP EDIT]

Auto step increment does not operate correctly.

A setup of PRESSURE is not memorized.

When the window of "Setups" is opened and closed, a monitor does not sound.

FOOT SWITCH cannot do the set of those other than PLAY START and PLAY.

8. [NEXT SEQ]

Nice1, go jj! Hopefully we'll still see new features.

wow! nice to see all the OS 3 bug fixes. before this, it seemed like JJ had abandoned the OS.

GRID EDIT still needs a lot of improvement. i hope he starts to work on that next.

It will be interesting to see how much continued development he will offer.
I still come across a lot of 1k or 2500 owners still running the Akai OS.

They will be telling you about a problem saving of something they wish it could do then when you suggest JJ they reply I don't want to mess mine up with that junk.

Funny with how we have used JJ OS's we haven't had a single casualty caused by the OS.

I have just stop trying to convince people who have that perspective of the advantages.

incorrect - one guy came here saying that his friend tried to crack jjos by opening it in notepad. he then promptly bricked his mpc. don't know how that ended up.

Now you know we couldn't blame that one on JJ.
Funny part is if it was that easy to do Akai would have probably done it as well.

yeah, but even before he gets to that there are a couple really basic showstopper problems:

1. when you jump from MAIN to GRID EDIT while the sequence is playing, the loop will turn off and the sequence will come to a stop.

2. in GRID EDIT you can only loop 1 or 2 bars. you can't loop the whole sequence.

3. using the VIEW feature resets your zoom level to the default 2-bar view. it should be possible to use VIEW even when zoomed in to the 1 bar view.

really?! wow. i wonder why OS 3 got gimped there.

i sent JJ requests to change this stuff back when OS 3 first dropped but he hasn't fixed it yet. I can't really use GRID EDIT until this gets sorted out. Having to manually turn LOOP back on every time you enter GRID EDIT is a real pain, and not being able to play the entire sequence at once is even worse.

You probably have to wait until october now

I think OS3 users should create an OS3 bugs/complaints topic in this subsection.

I can help to report directly if needed.

Good idea le rat! good idea.

I have 3 bugs reported but they ask for video every time so no fixing of these bugs in two updates. Really simple stuff to and cannot figure out why they can not just follow my steps and recreate it. For instance when track is set to chord and time is set to zero, it hangs midi notes to any external gear, so makes it useless. Needs fixing.

And of course Qlink data for Grid Edit Window is a sorely missed feature and almost makes me want to go back to XL just cos of these bugs.

So yeah a thread for it will be great

Please write a detailed step by step.

If I can reproduce these bugs, I ll take a video and send it.
