Submit bug reports and feature requests for the JJOS-XL and 2XL

Hi all,

Looks like my MPC 1k has a bug that causes values to jump when selected by the cursor, especially on the Mixer page (although the problem has occurred on other pages as well). And it only happens intermittently. Fortunately, I was able to catch it on video. See below:

Video 1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJi7gtSj34c
Watch the panning knobs of pads A03 and A04. They both jump randomly all the way to the left (A03 at the beginning and A04 and the end).

Video 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oL9AMB6lpn0
Watch the volume faders. As I cycle through the pads, their levels sometimes automatically jump down when they are selected.

I am currently running the latest version of JJOS2XL (3.80) but the problem is the same on JJOS 3.16 and the Akai OS 2.13, so it appears that the problem may actually be hardware- and not OS-related.

Anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you solve it, if at all?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Here just to document this same problem. Mine was doing it occasionally but was still workable, now its almost instantaneous on numbers within the menus such as the Tune feature in Program. When ever the cursor is on a number it jumps to its highest setting , making beatmaking near impossible without pure frustration. Bummed! Could it be a pad sensitivity thing? I don't know how to update the JJOS but that doesn't seem to work as previously stated. I'm going to try starting it up in the old setting without activating JJOS. I'll post the results...

Alright I may have found something. SO I realized it was somehow connected to the slider. So I went to the Slider menu (mode + Pad 1), and activated a slider with the After button on, and slide it to both high and low settings, watching the slider change settings on the screen. Next I just turned off or stopped using the slider and it seemed to unstick the numbers jumping when I hit pads bug.

That's where this problem originally started: when I was hitting a pad to change something like Tune, when I hit the pad to hard it would make the number jump up without control. Give it a shot let me know if it works long term or ask any questions if this doesn't make sense.

Not sure my problem related to using slider as the panning jumps randomly when I move around with arrow keys ..even if I use a data wheel to set the straight in the middle ..the might jump again.
Another jumping problem just appeared
Last night in the Edit Program mode :
some samples pitch started to jump low at random and sample select sloot started to randomly select other samples from sample pool .... Made a video of it.
A ghost in machine?
What's going on ..I m very confused
