Missing Forums?

I've not been around this forum for a long time. This is a bit off topic but since when did the other forum sub groups get removed?? There used to be some other non-akai specific forums on this board that were quite useful for discussing and comparing other samplers and gear.

Was this place bought out by Akai or something?

Nothing has changed, that's always been the sub forum to discuss non-MPC gear. And no, this place has not been bought out by Akai. Not sure why you originally posted this on the MPC Bible topic.

Massive user error going on here, my apologies.

I didn't realize that I was browsing completely inside the MPC Help, Advice and Discussion sub section - I could only see references to Mpc's and no other forums. I thought Akai had taken over and banished all other gear discussion or something lol, once again apologies for the epic FAIL. Glad to see this forum is thriving more than ever!
