Option to login and answer directly in a topic?

A suggestion for improving the forum experience.

Would it be possible to implement so that you can login and answer in a topic directly, without needing to head to the top of the site and login, then navigate back to the topic?

Or is this option already hidden somewhere, and I'm simply not seeing it?

Not possible ATM, probably the best option would be to change the login box to a pop up model , but given my to do list with mpc-samples I can't promise anything this century

And I just realized that there actually is the "Reply" button in the bottom of each topic. But this is only for a reply, not for quoting someone when wanting to comment on something specific.

So something to just be able to answer/quote someone directly from the topic without having to login from the top, which also makes you leave the topic you're in.
