Making Instruments and Sequences Fad Out????

Is ti possible to make Make fades at the end of my sequences on the MPC 3000?? Or Make Things fade in and out???

well if it's a sample, you can use attack or decay. If you just want it to fade in once make a sequence with the faded in attack sample then make another with it normal.. then chain them. 16 levels Attack or decay is good for this.

The automated mix section in the manual explains how to record your realtime changes in the drum mix screen for each pad. That's the best way in the MPC, but record it to a separate track, and read the manual section, it is very important if you don't want weird results.

if it the the whole sequence you can insert a midi volume message at the end of the sequence as a fade out curve. I haven't messed with the pad volumes in the mixerOr in step edit edit the events velocity sequentially downward for fade out or upward for fade in.

Honestly, it is much easier to do this in a multitrack recorder than programmed.

PS: All this is possible on the 3.10 OS 60.

Use the automation capabilities in the MIXER screen.

In conjunction with the <SET ALL> capability.

That way you'll be able to record a fade on all channels/pads at once.
