MPC60 Data Cables/Ribbons

Has anyone replaced any of theirs in their 60? I think I may have a bad one (or two), that's causing my 60 to freeze occasionally when in 'sample new sound' mode. Just looking for a source to purchase the right ones. Or if anyone has any insight to why this is happening? I had this problem a few years back and it seemed to go away, so its leading me to believe its one or more of the internal cables.

Yes, could be a contact problem but not necessarily the cable. Could also be chip. open up your 60 and gently press on every chip. Take some good photos of the cables and their connectors got to your local electronic shop and ask for them. As far I can see there are some widely used PC Cables (IDE or floppy). To be sure you should count the pins of the connections.

Thanks. I'll poke around inside the machine and check to make sure all of the cables and chips are seated properly.
