Check this out, last nite there was a SP-12 turbo with the disk drive and 100 blank floppies on eBay, but it now for $450, i asked dude one question via email, went back to buy it and somebody already hit it up, it was in cherry physical condition and dude had 100% feedz.

yeah, that's really why I asked this question from the jump, but I still didn't get it... :(

Because of the non linear 12 bit sampling, it is sometimes reffered to as 'effectively 14 bit" but there are only 12 bits to each sample.

It does sound surprisingly good because of the 40k Hz sampling rate.
