just got it and.

i was workin on the 3000 yesterday. Everything was workin fine. The pads were workin as i was playin them. I then assigned them to the 8-outs and recorded into my multitrack. This morning when i woke up(i left it on overnight because im waitin for my scsi hardrive to get here) i went down to the studio and i assigned the sounds all back to the stereo outs and then they wouldnt work. When i got the bought the mpc, the guy said he just replaced the pad censors. anybody have any ideas. I also rebooted a few times and sampled new sounds in and it still didnt work.

never leave it on overnight!! Heat kills electronics.

Did you have your main outs connected? is the main volume knob up? what are the levels at in the main mixer screen? Can you still hear it out of the indi outs?

247, did u call VST or Forat? Might be a $100 fix.

make sure you are in the right program (the 3k supports multiple progs right?) then go to the individual out mixer, blank the assignments out, then go to the main out mixer and make sure all the levels are up. Then make sure your main volume knob is up.

it was a user error. I was f*ckin aorund with midi earlier. I turned local mode off.
