its all good. phono pre amp question.

3ks back in the world of the living. changed the rectifier for new one and fitted an internal 9v fan on the PS (i'll up load some pics if anyone interested. thanks rohan and everyone else who helped.

anyone tried custom building a phono pre amp into the 3K? i reckon i might have a go. i've got the schematics for a 12v compact pre amp.

dunno if the power supply could handle it thou, im running a fan of there already.

i dont think the cap was completely gone but it was on the way out (all bulging at the top).

you could just get a turntable with digital out?

I just got a Radial J33, it's niiiice, but the signal is so hot that I have to keep the 3K sample input on low...has a rumble filter though and a good bit of options for outputs etc.
