Aight,
ive posted about my mpc months ago... still didnt find anything that could fix it.
just for the rec : everything powers up correctly, all the lights that are supposed to be lit are.. the cursor is blinking as it should but NO BUTTON WILL WORK... (no pad, no menu, no knob, no play-rec button... no soft key.. etc.. NO BUTTON SEEMS TO RESPOND).
Ive opened it following a lot of u guys's advice. i unplugged that plug that is supposed to be the main ribbon.. replugged it.. didnt work. I tried it a couple times.. tried some other things.. instinctivly.. lol didnt work.
Now i called Forat and the guy told me it would cost me around 150 to fix this (its an estimation made by phone)... Problem is i live in Montreal... on the other side of the continent... ups and fedex both tell me ill have to pay at least 150 bucks (x2 since i want it back!). I checked for that place called VST.. its in CA too:P
Im planning to travel to Nyc this summer... i just want to know if u know some trustable places where i could take my mpc on the east coast. If u live somewhere and i could pay u a visit (i know rohan offered me before (dunnow where he lives)) ... u can tell me ur price rates, ur diagnosis and everything!
Pls, i really need it to make music... i feel horrible these days its really depressing .. no kiddin.. im startin to understand why i need music so bad lol
