OS 3.5 Hybrid Partition

Does someone find a way to see all partition on a Microsoft system?

It'll be pretty usefull to make backups of them.

If you are working with a removable storage device then Windows will impose a limit on partition access.

IE: You will see the first partition only.

Using a FIXED storage device will not be limited in the same way.

I am working on a filter driver for the Windows operating system to force Windows in to treating removable storage devices as fixed types, thus allowing full access to all Hybrid Partitions; like the MAC users enjoy.

More on this as I make it happen.

On a different note.

If you wish to back up the whole disk then this can be performed with an imaging utility.

On Windows: Gemulator Explorer, Winhex, Disk2File ... and more.

Covered in this forum before.

For backing up as an image file the contents of a MPC SCSI disk:

Use it to make a *.DSK image file of your connected SCSI drive.
Or use it to send the *.DSK file to your connected SCSI device.
I suggest practicing with a non-mpc disk first time around. Use it's "PHYSICAL DEVICE" options when transfering images. Don't try pulling individual files with it.
