This is the right part.

The leads are extra long. You have to clip the leads once you've soldered, much like you do with resistors and most other through hole mount electronics....

Thanks for the Vid. I have changed out the rotary switches on a couple asrx's, so hopefully this should be somewhat easy. Just got a 3000, and I need to smash some of the buttons too work, just ordered the parts. Nice and cheap.

Clean the Tact Switches with some Electric Cleaner Spray

De-ox-it is the best, but almost any brand will do.

Damn that Deoxit did the job. I opened up the 3000 last night to put in new pads, and cleaned all the tacts & most of the buttons that were hard to hit are working real well now. Seems like I wont have to install the new tacts the min they come in now. Very Nice...

You would be surprised how much Classic gear I bought for cheap, because the seller thought buttons were broke and didn't mention it. I capitalize off shiftiness and battle it with knowledge!
