Pads on second row from bottom not giving correct pad number

Okay, here's what's happening.

When I hit pad 5, in the "Assign Pads To Note Numbers" screen, it shows pad A08. Sometimes it flashes A07 real quick before it goes to A08. When I hit pad 6, it displays A05, sometimes flashing A08 real quick. When I hit pad 7, it shows pad A06. Now, with pad 7, if I hold it down, it flashes between A05 and A06. Pad 8 flashes between A05, A06 and A07 real rapidly.

All my other pads appear to be fine. Only those on this row are giving a problem. I don't know if it might be the OS, which is 3.11.

Please let me know if any of you guys may have experienced this before and how you fixed it.

Just wanted to re-up because I'm getting ready to open up the 3k and clean the pads and re-seat the pad sensor ribbon cable into the sensor board.

Any tips?

I do plan on initializing all parameters first (from within the OTHER menu) to see if that could be a possible cure.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I did open the unit up and reset the pad sensor ribbon and all was well with my pads after that.
