Not powering on

So ive been using my mpc with the correct step down convertor for a while now and the other night i switched rooms to another power outlet all was ok but since i moved back its not powering up at all. It never made a noise like a blown fuse or blown unit. It just does nothing, i checked the transformer with another device and it seems ok. Anyway i took it to be serviced but im really worried this is a big problem. Anyone had a similar problem?

Its a us powered 3000

I just picked up my mpc and the news wasn't good the unit is blown, well the transformer is blown to pieces and it hard to tell what else without first replacing the transformer. It seems my step down transformer was faulty and didn't stop 230v getting through to the unit. Does anyone know if its possible to get a transformer for the 3000? I thought this was why we had fuses to prevent mishaps like this?

Your fuse may be too strong if something else is burn.

I did this same mispluging, i forgot the 220v converter and it happily was only a fuse to change.

Did you try to change them yoursef before sending to someone for repair ?

they basically lied about everything and didnt know how to fix it or couldnt be bothered. Never give anything to ELECTRIC FACTORY in Melbourne Australia, it was a horrible experience they told me it was beyond repair and to sell it for parts . Just by chance Rohan (mpc3000le) lived right around the corner from me and offered to take a look at it. He had it up and running in 10 mins, there was nothing wrong with the transformer. Hes now servicing it, I suggest anyone that has problems with their machine to give it to Rohan. He obviously knows what hes doing and a pleasure to deal with.
