MPC 60mkii pad problem

My lady has been acting up.

problem one:
So if i'm in the tune drum screen and hit either ride 2 or crash one the cursor moves to the wrong place and i gotta navigate with the arrows...not the worst thing, but then...

problem two:
a couple days ago the HH pad is also triggering snare 1

I definitely didnt have the pad set to trigger both.....i opened her up and reseated the ribbon controller

that fixed problem two but not problem one

ideas?

Lol.....just using it for drums and as a sequencer
asr 10 for everything else......not worth it for me

double check your ribbon cable from the main control board (playstart, stop, etc) to the main motherboard... sometimes if its loose, things can get jumpy


make sure your rotary encoder is not failing as well

try to obtain a new copy of the OS.

In all honesty i use my asr 10 WAAAAAAY more....just use the 60 for drums and sequencing but Roger might be getting that young $200 from me for an OS


Is the new OS really that much better? (I read the specs and features)
