Giving your the MPC 3000 that SP 1200 Feel.

Has anyone had any success giving there MPC 3000 Tracks and SP 1200
Feeling to them???

It can be done if you play with it...Not getting the exact sound but getting a sound thats close.....I use the 2 of them together...If your never usedthem here is my breakdown(jus my opinion).............

The SP1200 has a deep bass sound like the mpc60 - but with more punch(not bass, punch)

It also has an excellent "snap" on the snares like the 3000.(the 60 has great snap also but I prefer the 3000 on snare..again only opinion- gives it a cleaner, clearer sound right off - which may or may not be what your after...i'm not talking effects. eq, etc)

I took a drum loop and replayed it on the 3000 and SP1200 for my DJ over the phone and he heard a "BIG" difference - over the phone... even more so when he came over...

The sequencer's are totally different though but I like them both......
