I replied to you in private advising to log in at the web interface and thought, oh well; why not log in myself ?

On doing this and checking the yahoo group status for file access:

The settings are as follows.

Files: Members (upload/modify/download files)
Photos: Members (upload/modify/download photos)
Links: Members (create/modify/delete links)
Database: Limited (members can view data; moderators can create/modify/delete tables)
Polls: Limited (members can vote in polls; moderators can create/modify/vote in polls)
Members: Members (members view profiles; moderators can view profiles/change settings)
Calendar: Members (create/modify/delete events)
Promote: Members (get sign-up boxes)
Chat: Enabled

The fact that I, group owner and moderator can not download the files either suggests a yahoo glitch.

I will contact them directly to fix this issue.

Now I will contact the poster daicehawk via pm to offer a resolution.

Thanks,

Rohan.

The files area is now working again at yahoo group MPC3000 forum.

Files as mentioned can now be downloaded again if you are a registered group member and logged in at the yahoo group web interface.

A yahoo glitch swiftly fixed.

Thanks,

Rohan.

Seems to be glitching again.

I am glad that you've been able to retrieve these files in the short window where every thing was working.

I'm still waiting for a "real support response" from yahoo.

As their services ( mail and groups ) are essentially free for all of us to use ...... and growing out of control; then I don't expect a rushed response to a call for help any time soon.

We'll see.

Rohan.
