Problems with RS-16x and getting samples into mpc3000

OK, so I formatted the zip disc in the mpc, converted my wav files in rs-16x, and when I try to upload the converted files into my mpc 3k it either sees no files at all, or tells me that the files are for a later version of akai software and that I would need to upgrade the software in the mpc 3k. I've reformatted the disc and reconverted the samples...just to make sure I didn't miss something, but I'm pretty sure I didn't..................PLEASE HELP. The mac forum says other mpc 3k users have had trouble getting the converted files onto thier mpc 3K, but they don't have any info why. Is there another os x compatible program that I could give a try. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The MAC does not correctly support the disk partition and file system architecture type of the MPC3000.

As a result it is writing data in a corrupted fashion.

The MPC3000 is accordingly tripping out when attempting to load said files.

Ok, thanks....maybe that's something I can invest in over time. In the mean time I think I'm going to resort to the cheaper option of using my roomates pc to transfer files to disc. It'll be a little tedious but I just bought the MPc 3k and don't think I can immediately droop another 2 bills. Thanks again for the useful info!

Will I have the same issues if I get a floppy to USB drive and copy my files onto floppy rather than zip discs?
