How hot is your MPC ?

Hey there,
my MPC 60 gets very hot when it is turned on for a while.
I also believe that the beats coming out of it are sounding tighter when it is still cold.
the chassis over the heatsink is touchable though i think it is too hot.

mine don't heat up too much, I hear the sp1200 gets HOT though

Mine gets very hot around the psu, which is normal.
It does not affect the sound though. Why do you think it does ?

They can become hot ( not SP like, but HOT ). I dont think that it will effect the sound ( cause the outputs are on the other side [left] of the unit and the thats not where its hot ), but the cpu can become "jumpy" at times. I tracked some beats last summer and even with only a 8bar song i had mini jumps ( lil glitches, the complete timing went of for a second ). I had to repeat the tracking sometimes - sometimes even twice.

Some people covered the same prop - others never had this issue.
