when loading a PGM sample overwritten | mpc 300

hey

has someone the same problem? from time to time this happens to me.. i think the frequency is 1 of 20 beats.

i make a beat. and save all sequs and PGMs. but when i reload all that the first sample that i sampled is overwritten by the last one that i sampled.... which is not nice....

any suggestions???

Sounds like your naming new files the same as old ones. That's what normally causes a file to be overwritten by the MPC.

no. that is not the case. the mp is giving the samples names in running numbers...

That means the MPC is occassionaly generating a number that has been used already by a file on the disk.
Name your files manually with unique names and you wont have the problem.
