SCSCI card reader, this one might work

nice find man. There was a thread about all the different card readers and which ones worked, can't remember if the 50b was one of them which did, will have to dig it out.

i can confirm that this one does NOT work in the MPC-60.

i bought one to test it, unfortunatly it doesnt.

Did you try with a "fixed" CF card or was your card the removable type ?

Stay away from readers that use LUN addressing as they will not be compatible.
One forum member got one of these to work in their S5000 by updating the firmware and using a PCMCIA to CF Adapter

Not sure if this has been tested out with an MPC but it would be good knowledge to hear back from someone that's tested it with the PCMCIA adapter

Duid you try with a "fixed" CF card or was your card the removable type ?

i tried both types, no luck .
