250mb internal zip possible in 3000LE OS 3.11?

I'm new to the forum & was wondering if I could install an internal zip drive (250mb) in my LE? I'm using OS 3.11, I heard recently from a guy that the 3.11 OS will only recognize 100mb of the 250mb disk-didn't really believe he knew what he was talking about, after he said I couldn't upgrade the chips in my Ghost, but that's another story. If anyone has had a successful experience with using a 250mb internal zip drive in the 3000LE let me know, of course using the 3.11 OS. Any pics or step-by-step directions would also be very much welcomed & appreciated to the utmost...!!! Thanks-360

You can install a SCSI zip drive in your MPC3000.
On my MPC with 250mb drive 100 mb disks wont work at all.
I can use the full capacity of 250mb disks.

Now did you do the install yourself or have someone do it for you? If you diy, how easy would you say it is to do (ie adapters, cables, etc.)? I'm thinking of getting an IOMEGA Z250ATAPI 250MB zip drive. Any thoughts on that particular one?

ATAPI will not work. You need SCSI.

The instuctions are for a card reader but it will be the same for zip drives.
