Share your knowledge on these two classic MPCs

Hey guys,
Tonight my MPC60 started playing sounds by itself (without me touching the pads) after I put the 16-levels function on. It started playing other pads next to the pads I was hitting at first, then it would play the sound of a pad really fast in repetition, like it was sticking. The only way to stop it was to turn the 16-levels off.

I can't think of why this would happen, but here is some possible stimuli;
1. It gets hot and humid where I live. In saying that, it was quite humid tonight when it happened, but it has been worse and the MPC has worked fine.
2. I ran a vacuum lightly over the MPC with a brush-head to collect dust off the keys/pads last week. I doubt this would be a contributing factor, but I thought I'd include it anyway.

I had trouble finding any info on this topic before I posted it, so your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

hey, I suggest lifting the lid off and cleaning the pad sensor sheet.. also make sure it isn't moist..

this will give you the chance to give the inside a clean with a can of compressed air at the same time...

it sounds like something is shorting in the pads.
