Just copped a clean 3000

Just came up on a mpc 3000 from ebay. Dude was selling it for parts or not working for a starting bid of $599. It was from a pawn shop in Houston. I hit him up and said I would buy it but not for his price, so I got it for $475 shipped. It said some wires needed soldering. The pad board is cracked and the wires were jumped over the crack. Need a few tact switches and a stop button, but got a good back light with max ram. Not exactly a steal, but I can do the work myself so it wont cost nothin but parts

Good buy, though...it'll be rewarding getting it back in shape and nice to save some dough at the same time.

This is the pad pcb that was cracked. I finally got around to soldering it. I tinned some copper wire and made a bridge. Just thought I would post it and maybe it would help someone down the line. Not hating on the mpc repair shops, but theyre trying to charge $100 bucks for a simple repair like this. Still havent tested it in the machine, waiting to do my tact switches on operation (a) pcb
