how much is to much for a mpc 3000

I've been using a mpc 60II for a while now and im looking at selling it and getting a 3000 . Wanted to know whats the most i should be looking at spending on one cause a guy in my area is selling his for 1500 but i thought that was a bit steep since he only had the basic os that comes with the 3000 and no card reader.

If you dont want to pay that ,dont and wait for one to come up at a price your happy with.
