MPC60 Power up

Anybody ever experience hearing a scratchy grainy sound during power up on their MPC? Just thought it was abnormal since I had it for 3 years.

It's not much of an issue performance wise but kinda bothersome to hear when I start it up.

Anybody ever experience this? Should I be worried?

I dont have that issue... are there any things connected to any of the inputs on the 60?

Remember how old these MPC60's are, you can't expect factory fresh performance from components that are well over 20 years old.

If it bothers you that much or affects normal operation of the machine, treat her to a service.

Never had that problem with an MPC 60, and I've had three or four.
