3K not reconizin' any zip drives

My internal zip drive seems to die doin' that " double click " horrible sound ...
so the mpc don't recognise it no more so won't format no disk neither & even says :
"no floppy in the drive" or "no scsi ... "
same situation with the external zip drive i just get ...

where does the problem comes from ??

1. Don't use zip drives, their issues are well documented.

2. Look into testing/ replacing the scsi fuse.
