Quick question about the individual outs/stereo out/effects

Hey, just got the mpc3000 and i m loving it. its pretty much straight forward, the only thing i dont get so far is the routing.
When you assign sounds to the individual outs, they are still coming through the stereo out as well, theres no way around that?
Also, when you assign a sound to the delay effect, it seems like you will only be able to hear this delay thorugh the stereo out, right? so its not possible to use the 8 individual outs on my mixing desk while at the same time use the internal delay, as the stereo out also always plays the sounds from the individual outs on top.

does that make any sense to you?

If you don't want to hear a sound through the main stereo out, just turn it down in the internal mixer.

As far as the delay, that's the one downside about the 8outs. You can't assign the delay to any of the 8 outs.

You could use the stereo outs as a 9th and 10th stereo output, and turn down everything in the stereo mixer except the sound you have the delay assigned to. Then have the rest of your beat assigned to the indiv outs

another question, and i dont want to open yet another thread:

When syncing with the cubase midi clock, the mpc plays at a faster tempo and doesnt react to any tempo changes made in cubase. Its definatly not a problem of my computer as the sp12 and 909 sync perfect. any ideas?

also, i was blown away by the difference of the raw, unprocessed mpc mix compared to a recording of all seperate tracks into cubase (using RME card). This thing sounds WAY better when everything is kept in the box. I guess i have to learn how to arrange whole tracks on the MPC then

I love my SP12, but f*** this 3000 sounds great.

the one feature I've always wanted on a 3ooo is the record to main out feature the newer MPCs have-you can go into record mode and record what's coming out of the sterro jacks for however long you have sample time for and port it out, feel and thump intact
