where to buy good drums samples sampled through mpc 3000 for

Hi, there's any site where I can download professional drums samples sampled through real drum machine like tr808, 909, 707, dmx, ecc.. to sll 4000 or neve desk to mpc 3000?

Here you can download wav files but I can't read anywhere the chain that were used to record them.

Is it important that the sound is sampled directly through the mpc 3000 to get that big 3000 sound? ..or any wav that I open in the mpc 3000 even It was not sampled through the 3000 will come out with that big 3000 flavor?

And to answer this: YES. To get the 3000's color on your samples, you have to actually sample into the machine. Just loading up sounds into it won't really do anything, it's all about the sampling engine inside of the machine.

In the link you gave me I can only find 3 volumes of samples sampled through the mpc 60, but nothing sampled through the mpc 3000.

It seems insane to me that not any company did a professional sampling of all the important famous drum machines in the past knowing the importance of the mpc 3000 for the music producers of the world!

Don't know where you'll find MPC3000 specific PGMs. But a few of the established sample suppliers may have something for you (midimark, syntaur, samplekings, MPC-samples.com etc). MPC3000 loads MPC60 SND and SET files, and there are MPC60 sample libraries available on floppy. These are also on the MPC2000XL CD ROM in WAV format, with other factory libraries, there are links to this CD posted in this forum.

MPC3000 also loads Akai S1000/S3000 sample files (not program's) from floppy disc, and there are huge libraries available in Akai format. You can't load samples from a CD Rom on the MPC3000 so that isn't an option.

You can convert WAV files and create PGMs for the MPC3000 using software for Mac or PC, this is covered in the bible threads and well documented. Lets not forget you can sample/resample stuff yourself using your MPC3000 to benefit most from both AD/DA conversion stages.

Well why don't you do it and makes lots of money?

I already told you about the Akai S1000/S3000 library which loads into the MPC3000, but it seems that you want it exactly as you prescribe (thru SSL or Neve lol). You might well have to do it yourself in that case.
