I'm still sort of a newb to beat making though i got my mpc3000 a while ago i haven't ever really used it since i initially figured out how to assign samples and record them. I just got back to trying to make a beat again and am having toruble figuring out how come after i assign a sample i can't hear it when i tap the pad. I can't even hear it when i go to the main screen and change the settings for the track and program settings, yet i can hear the samples after tapping the paddings and recording and playing back or should i say looped overdub setting when its playing it back. i've looked over the manual and perused the different settings and can't figure out if one of them has been changed and is screwing me up or what. any ideas what it could be?
