Couple of cool things to try when recording out into a DAW o

This is probably the oldest trick in the book that i didn't know, but I just had a lot of fun performing whilst tracking out into Logic. Set up your 4 (or whatever) assignable outs to different drum hits, then whilst playing your loop, hold the timing correct and play about with creating double hits etc on your drums. If you turn off the 'full level' you can create some really nice dynamic effects If you've clock sync'd to Logic it's easy to tidy up, or leave it crazy
