PADS WONT PLAY SOUND, PLEASE HELP!

HELLO THERE MPC HEADS, I´VE HAD MY MPC3000 FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS NOW, AND I NEVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE. I CAN LOAD A BEAT AND PLAY IT NORMALLY, THE BIG QUESTION COMES WHEN I TRY TO PLAY THE SAMPLES HITTIN THE PADS, IT SIMPLY WONT PLAY THEM. I FIRST THOUGHT THE BOARD WAS BROKEN, BUT WHEN I PUT IT ON PROGRAM/SOUNDS WINDOW, EACH PADS PRESSED WILL SHOW EACH SAMPLES NAMES, NO PROBLEMS, BUT I CAN´T HEAR ANY SOUND, HOW CAN THAT BE?
I´VE RE-INSTALLED THE 3.11OS AND EVEN TRIED THE 3.16 THINKING IT WAS A BUG, BUT SO FAR IT´S THE SAME, SOME BODY HELP ME OUT PLEASE! :hmmm:

Have you tried resetting the machine to the default parameters? This is under the 'other' menu I believe.

If the pad assignments have been changed in some way, or the beats you are loading were saved on a different machine, could be the cause of your issue.

Or perhaps the back up battery has died?

I reset ALL PARAMETER FILE DATA and it worked out straight away.
Not sure what might have changed it.
