Chopping on MPC 60 with OS 2.12

A little side topic not directly related to my refurb.

How on earth do you chop samples on the 60 with OS 2.12? With 3.10 I just made a bunch of copies of the sample and trimmed them individually to get chops but a can't work our how to do this on 2.12. The manual didn't help me out either. I couldn't find anything in the sampling sectionanything that deals with copying samples.

Help!

you re-record the same sample onto several pads and trim them all individually.. like you did, but actually sampling them onto several pads one by one... or you can record a sample, save it to the floppy disk and load it to several other pads but don't forget to rename the samples after loading each one so you don't wind up getting stuck. I prefer the first way... just leaving the sample on the vinyl and taking a bunch of cuts of it that I need.

Now floppy in mine just yet. Sampling out a bunch of times sounds like the way I'd prefer.
